The significance of a neat appearance is something every gentleman should get into consideration. A sharp appearance is completed with clean, well-groomed and tidy hair and beard.

Today, wanting to pamper myself I visited DON Barber & Groom. A beauty space exclusively for men, in which I luxuriate in classic barbering and wellness services. Stealing some time for me relaxing in a beautiful and serene environment I pamper myself, always in style!

About DON

Several years ago, Giannis Sakellarakis, the owner of DON, visualized the idea of DON Barber & Groom.
His passion and love for men’s care and the evolution of men’s beauty, helped him conclude with thοse precise principles and the philosophy that he wished they served DON Barber & Groom.

In the summer of 2012 his vision was materialized. DON Barber & Groom opened on 16 Amerikis street, at the center of Athens. He and his partners started a very pleasant journey, full of hard work, constant training and persistent research for new techniques and products.

In June of 2016, they decided to relocate DON Barber & Groom (23 Amerikis str.), to a bigger and much more comfortable space. The architecture Group gave particular attention to the decoration of the new space. The bet was to combine the design with ergonomics. Thus, the elements of architectural designs were fully harmonized with the details from the art deco era, taking us back in time, in the glamour of the old Athens, yet in a modern view.

Giannis Sakellarakis and his team welcome everyday men of any age, who entrust them with the task of highlighting their style and appearance. The customer of DON Barber & Groom can enjoy a variety of services. Besides having a haircut and a shaving with a slitter, the client can give shape to his beard, take care of his hands and feet (manicure-pedicure), have specialized facial treatments and finally, enjoy some of the proposed body massages (relaxing, Hot stones, etc.).

In DON Barber & Shop you may find a selected range of men’s skincare, a special Perfume Bar with branded perfume labels, cosmetic and shaving products and a beautiful collection of special accessories.

The Look

As dandy as it gets, check patterned garments are Key Pieces that every man should own.
Interesting, versatile but most of all stylish, a checked jacket is an item that couldn’t be missing of a sharp dresser’s wardrobe, bringing vintage elegance to every outfit.

Usually looking super-sartorial, the checked jacket can automatically put you at the head of class, when worn properly.

Visiting a barber shop is a ritual and I couldn’t serve this philosophy without looking dandy. Therefore, I opted for a bespoke checked jacket made of wool-cashmere combined with grey flannel s.120 trousers and a handmade cyan shirt. I completed my outfit with a gorgeous pair of blue fringed monk strap shoes.
