Legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti reimagines the classic Crème de la Mer jar with images captured at the Edge of the Sea.

Just entered my 37 and realized that I am closer to my 40s than to my 30s. And before the midlife crisis strikes, new routines have been added to my checklist in order to preserve all these precious commodities youth has to offer. I find myself being more passionate with physical activities and healthy eating than I ever was before. I now care more about the look of my skin and I have already added a skincare protocol to my everyday routine.

Speaking of skincare protocol, the legendary Crème de la Mer is the ideal hydrating cream for a bon viveur to start taking good care of his skin. This luxurious cream deeply soothes, moisturises and heals dry skin.

But, really, could you even imagine that I would launch into something less than that? 🙂

This season, legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti and his ingenue daughter, Gray, create an homage to the sea’s boundless inspiration and a father-daughter’s everlasting love.

They reimagine the Crème de la Mer jar design to commemorate their collaboration at the Edge of the Sea.

They shot these images at the sea, where they’ve been going since childhood.

“The design is an extension of our photography. It is about sharing what inspires me and getting her to share what inspires her.”

Mario Sorrenti

Where inspiration and innovation know no bounds and the curious come to explore, Mario and Gray capture the Spirit of La Mer.

“For me images and emotions… are almost the same thing… they are the same thing.

Mario Sorrenti
