Grey. A color synonym to class. A color neither too dark, nor too light. A color suitable for any occasion, mood or time of the day. A quiet color that could create either elegant and chic, or fashionable and creative looks.
Having a morning walk through Old Athens, required a classic and classy look. My retro mood was accompanied by a light grey wool super150 cashmere single button slim fit suit by GIANNETOS, a greek luxury fashion house, specialized in men’s clothing. A quality, beautiful and perfectly tailored suit that I love to wear, as it is both stylish and comfortable. For a clean and fresh look, I preferred to wear a crisp, white shirt.
The key piece that gave prominence to my outfit was a black Fedora hat, as it adds class, sophistication, while providing an elegant and unique accent to every outfit, at the drop of a hat. Fedoras are considered to be suitable for both formal and business attire. It is typically creased lengthwise down the crown and “pinched” near the front on both sides. The typical crown height is 4.5 inches and they are usually made of felt or wool.
I embellished my outfit with a pair of gorgeous bespoke oxford shoes by Ioannis Karagiorgos, a grey tie by GIANNETOS, a quality hand-sawn pochet by House of ΚΥΔΟΣ, a pair of custom made cufflinks by MOUTSATSOS and a classic MAURICE LACROIX watch.
Walking in Old Athens is always a pleasure. Make it gracious.
