First Impression
First impression is important, so we should decorate the entrance of our home accordingly. We shouldn’t make the entrance look extravagant. Fresh flowers and a scented candle are the ideal choice.
Invest on Comfort
One of the most important things that we should bear in mind when throwing a New Year’s Eve reception is to make our guests feel comfortable, be in a good mood and move freely around the place.
The guests should have access to the bar in order to get their drinks. Snacks and delicious treats should be served to keep the guests entertained as long as all invitees gather together. Food should be luscious, but not excessive, as the festive night is long.
Music and lighting are the most important services, as they create the perfect conditions for partying.
The decoration
Table’s decoration should be glamorous. Gold and Silver elements and colors could coexist.
A black tablecloth embellished with silver placemats, coupled with gold adornments constitute the ideal choice for the decoration of the festive table.
Combination of modern and classic style could be achieved by using objects we already own, adding a touch of up-to-date embellishments.
